We have a number of groups and activities that are available to everyone – you do not need to be a library member to join in. All groups are free (unless stated) but there may be a small charge for drinks. If you would like to start a group or activity, please get in touch. Please note that toys and crafts are available to use at all times with no charge during opening hours.
Our Bookshop is always open when the library is open.
Monday 10.30 – 11.30am – Babytime (term time only)
Board Games Club – 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. 7pm to 9pm. Ages 16+ £2 charge
Meet Up Monday – 2pm – 4.30pm – Call in for a chat, free refreshments, play a board game, read, use our computers, share your memories and check out our Bookshop – All welcome for a free warm, safe space
Wednesday 10.30 – 12 – Knit and Natter (small charge – please ask before joining as spaces are limited)
Crafting and Chatting – Every 2nd Wednesday of the month. 6pm to 8pm. There is a £2 charge includes drinks and biscuits/cake.
Litter Picking – 11am every week (weather permitting) Meet outside the library. Equipment provided.
Yoga – Fully booked
Thursday Garden Session – 2pm to 4pm – All welcome. Please bring gardening gloves if you have them.
Friday 10.30 – 11.30 – Writing Group – 1st and 3rd Friday of the month
10-30 – 11.30 Reading Group – 3rd Friday of the month
3-30 – 4.30 Lego Club – Ages 6 and above – Duplo is available for younger children
3.30 – 4.30 Chess Club for children – all ages and abilities
